Celsius Re was established to provide “embedded advisory” services to private equity, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and high net worth for insurance and reinsurance M&A activities.
Senior Deal Advisory Work
To date, Celsius Re is or has been engaged as a senior advisor to an investment bank and three private equity firms on Re/Insurance M&A. Advisory role catered to deal sourcing, due diligence, financial model development and Investment Committee participation and presentation. The essential role performed was to function as a business case sense checker. Advising primarily on buy side M&A for:
· Insurance & Reinsurance carriers/de novo.
· Global Re/Insurance brokers.
· US, UK & European MGAs
· Hybrid/Fronting carriers.
· Lloyd’s of London syndicates, managing agents and members agents.

Our team
Peter Mills has over thirty years of market outperforming insurance and reinsurance P&C experience spanning seven firms. Having worked in every major Re/Insurance hub, Peter brings global perspective.
Peter has served as a C-Suite executive for Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Portfolio Optimization and Reinsurance for three publicly traded Re/insurers. Peter has been a founder of a reinsurance focused businesses within Lloyd's of London. He has served as a member of the board of directors for four Re/Insurance businesses.
Peter serves as a senior deal advisor for Re/Insurance M&A to three Private Equity firms and one Investment Bank.
